Our Programs

Community Service

Our community service programs are at the heart of the Rotary Club of Kira’s mission. These initiatives focus on addressing pressing local needs while aligning with Rotary’s global priorities in areas such as health, education, and sustainable development. Key activities include:

1. Health Outreach Programs:

   • Organizing medical camps, vaccination drives, and health education sessions to improve access to healthcare for underserved communities.

2. Educational Support:

   • Providing scholarships, school supplies, and mentorship to empower the youth and bridge the educational gap in our community.

3. Clean Water and Sanitation Projects:

   • Implementing initiatives to improve access to safe drinking water and promote hygiene through community training and infrastructure development.

4. Environmental Sustainability:

   • Tree planting drives, waste management campaigns, and advocacy for sustainable practices to preserve the environment for future generations.

   • There are annual events such as Rotary conference in Calgary and also Rotary District conference in April.
