Kira Primary School (Construction of Waterborne Toilets)
Kira Primary School, a government institution over 100 years old, lacked proper sanitation facilities. The Rotary Club of Kira addressed this need by constructing modern waterborne toilets, offering a cleaner and healthier environment for over 1,000 students. The school library was also renovated, creating a conducive space for learning and improving academic performance.
Kira Primary Sec. School (Bathroom)
At Kira Secondary School, the club constructed a 10-stance bathroom for boys to resolve the long-standing issue of inadequate hygiene facilities. Previously, the lack of proper sanitation affected student attendance and health. The new facilities provide a dignified and hygienic space, improving the overall well-being of the students.
